Oy Headman Ltd is a small high technology company that develops and commercializes innovative laboratory methods of diagnosing viral or toxoplasma infection. We work in close association with University of Helsinki and our products are evaluated and stress-tested under typical diagnostic conditions at one of Scandinavia´s largest clinical virology laboratories.

 


 
 

 Our currently available IgG Avidity Enzyme Immunoassays (EIA) are for cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, hanta virus, human parvovirus B19, rubella virus and Toxoplasma gondii. We have very recently developed a new procedure for avidity measurement, which is as sensitive and specific as the previous reference method, but twice as economical.

 

 
 

 An even more unique serodiagnostic concept, epitope typing, efficiently confirms human parvovirus B19 diagnosis.
